The Ombudsman and Barclays

Carl Wackan

I had an email from the #Ombudsman who says we didn't ask #Barclays to #negotiate, and I had to correct them, "No you recommended negotiations, after finding partially in my favour and awarding me compensation. Based on the treatment we had at the hands of #Barclays which appeared heavy handed. This had resulted in a loss of faith by us in them, resulted in my wife's breakdown and severe depression in which she talked openly about suicide!"

So now I've asked to clarify what the recommended means, the EOD defines it as

So the #Ombudsman suggested or advised that negotiations would be a good or suitable way to proceed.... that was in 2016... so have there been any #negotiations, I've made three offers to settle this matter. Deemed by #Barclays staff to be fair and reasonable... One even called them elegant...

However according to Senior Leadership team of #Barclays as it's not an instruction by the #Ombudsman, they don't have to do anything...! Bearing in mind they took the first swipe at me. Someone at #Barclays started this by #Debanking me without warning, without explanantion or in a way that gave me a chance to get out of the way of this Gut Punch.

#Barclays a company that claims to have the #customer at the forefront of everything they do..? would it seems fair and reasonable for them to be the party that starts the process of repairing the damage they caused..?

Actually just thinking about the act of #DeBanking, so #Barclays, as a provider of services for whichthey charge has effectively said "We Barclays Bank do NOT want anything to do with you...! All business, all services and all contracts that existed are now of this moment gone withdrawn and we're done with you!"

That's abit of a school boy error in reality on their behalf they still have my money, I'd like that back failure to give me my property puts them in trouble with the police so let's try that one... If nothing else it'll make excellent reading for the other banks such as #LloydsBank #Santander #Nationwide #HSBCBank #NatWestBank #Bank
