Under the terms of "Fair Comment" I remember doing a #Barclays conference in the mid 90's when the internet was was just starting out and #Barclays said "they would own the internet and make money from clients with both classic brick and mortar businesses and the new idea of virtual companies inside #Barclays version of the web....!" and then we had various version of the internet develop around the time one of my old bossess said the internet was like "CB radio for nerds....!" and "it would never catch on...!" and in 1999 I suggested an idea that people could and would in the future connect usng the internet, and demand the truth or reach out to each other, the chap I worked with said this... "what be totally transparent, honest? about what you do..?" that's a mental idea. I replied "well if we're totally honest about what we do, how we do it, then clients can either choose us... or walk away... and we know where we stand. Then in 2004 #facebook launched which was very much based in that way of thinking... (but then again they've now rewritten their ow history....!)

So where are we as clients..? It won't come a shock to know clients are still having it up the arse... companies like #politicians lie, cheat and steal and then similar to #realDonaldTrump and #putin then say it didn't happen.....

Should we be expecting more..?

The Recap

I had a #Barclays Acccount from 2001 till around 2010/11 so lets say 10 years... during which we grew a small #technology business from nothing to employing 15 people, plus 30-50 freelancers... having a decent sized industrial unit filled with #broadcast equipment that was sent around the world to fullfill jobs. Most of which where larger than anyone could ever imagined which included me... was I an #Entrepreneur hard to say I just pitched ideas and most paid off all based in simple principals of being honest... #success #TeamWorkMakesTheDreamwork

Clients whom we supported included Princess Rania, (now Queen Rania) The Met Police, #Barclays, #MorganStanley, Royal Sun Aliiance the Duke of Westminster, The Queen, Princess Anne, Prince Charles and The Bomber Command Charity for whom we helped raised 20 million pounds to create the biggest post war memorial in London in Green Park London opened in 2012

So what happened in 2009, in simple terms I nearly got killed while onsite... I still struggle to explain that, somehow I got away what was meant to certain death... having to come to terms of being made disabled to add to muy already somewhat complex life... #Dyslexia and English as a second language...

When I was being honest, just after the accident I did tell #Barclays... what happened, they told me not to worry and they would support our business as this was not affected.... I wanted their support... it sounded ok and really only came down to the cost of money which equates to the costs of doing business and then... They shut all my accounts... it's simple no explanation #Debanked and fucked by #Barclays this was well before being #DeBanked as cool and folks like #NigelFarage got involved claiming he was a #victim of this...

While in a court case for compensation, #Barclays chose to trespass on my personal injury claim even after they claimed to offer me support.... (which on hindsight may have been a lie) #liars

in 2010/11 after I learnt to walk and talk again, #Barclays closed all my accounts... effectively one minute I had bank accounts at #Barclays. The next minute I had a plastic card with a long number on it, which didn't work and #Barclays had all my money... YUP... let that sink in... one minute life is normalish and the next it's #extreme freefall #skydiving without a parachute or safety net... so try f you think this all too #unlikely try living with whatever you have whatever is in your pockets to survive... #RayMears would struggle cos the icecream truck won't take buttons and #BearGrylls would be looking for the #Hilton Loyalty card...

YUP.... It's has been a story of #survival if you doubt that, here's a simple #challenge do a month cancel all standing orders and without using a credit/ debit card and only live with #cash you can create or have about your person... I've done 15 years like this and it's hard work..... this is more like #theapprentice #daraobriain than anything on TV right now it's more extreme than #SASAreYouToughEnough #SASWhoDaresWins #radioleary #antmiddleton who I tend to think is actually #Rylan well you never see'em in the same room together... and if that's not a #conspiracy then what is

And what does #Barclays do...? oh yeah they claim I didn't have an account so they couldn't have #debanked me.... I mean like "shit the bed" isn't that the best defence... even the #CraigCharles Defence isn't that good. It's a simple "It wasn't us, we didn't done it!" Barclays claims "We don't have any details of your account...!" Therfore what's left to, so I post evidence of it and who looks like a prat now..? #Barclays but do they care...? probably not... should we as clients expect more..?

Well to be honest I don't know, but what would expecting less look like...?...? Where does that leave us...?

#joelycett might have an opinion, in his consumer show..? which is pretty funny as I do have a story about him and #Channel4 but that's another story... for another day

anyway watch this space for more development in "being shit at customer service is what we're good at...!

"Barclays number 1 at being a number 2!"
