And we're back with the Ombudsman

Carl Wackan

So after another 8 months of back and forth, we're back with the ombudsman. #barclays chooses to not discuss, evade when possible and not provide the requested information. Instead they claim they are right, without evidence or having reviewed the facts which remain indisputable. They closed my business account without any reason, refused to discuss it, refused to answer the question about the process and hat this action was the catalyst for everything that followed.

#Barclays claim this is all my doing, so according to them I closed my own account to stop paying a mortgage they hold to allow them to repossess my home and make myself homeless, while I agree I'm a piece of work... even I have to question my own stupidty.

#Barclays wen on to claim that they are entitled to close anyone account at will, so everyone should be very aware of the predatory nature of their own bank... in these uncertain times one thing as an absolute they will be trying to look out for number 1.... and the customer and their rights will have very little to do with it all....

My first encounter with the Ombudsman was very straightforward, I explained everything that had happened and they found in my favour. They made #BarclaysUK pay me some small amount of compensation and recommended we both parties should negotiate.

This was interpreted by #Barclaysbank as they could ignore me send me more threatening letters, send people to intimidate and attempt to break into my house.... After I pointed out this wasn't the best strategy, reminded them they should negotiate... they just ignored me. Then after a while I was invited to #twitter as this was their chosen process for conflict resolution.... that has proved a fruitless process and now after wasting all that time and effort they ignore me there too...

I have concluded that #Barclays are nothing more than liars, cheats, theives and chancers who'd sell any and all of their clients up the river if they thought they could make a quick buck....

Lets' see what the Ombudsman makes of the lastest development in this #soapopera
