14th April 2023 nearly a year to the day of the blog

Carl Wackan

Three yup folks three more letters that are a waste of paper and the postage... the one on the top is pretty threatening. "Your House Maybe Repossessed!"

Such a cheerful opening gambit, from a bunch of lying chancers as #BarclaysBank Let's take apart what we've had today

  1. A letter to confirm our new mortgage rate

  2. A Letter than my complaint is beinf dealt with by the senior leadership team

  3. A letter tellming me that they are going to push to repossess my home.

So after 14 years of nearly getting killed, 13 years after telling #Barclays that I would be in a legal claim for compensation for upwards of 1 million pounds. For injuries suffered in the accident

12 and a half years since they for no explainable reason, and I have asked alot of times why... They closed all my accounts...

Which made it impossible to pay my solicitors andpay my then staff... actually it made it impossible to pay when #Barclays which they used as a trigger to ramp up dents in my name...

12 years since I had to teach myself to walk and talk again, and try and deal with my compensation claim. Which failed as I was unable to pay my solicitors.

10 years since I formally raised the complaint with #Barclays under their own system and this was later referred to the #FinancialOmbudsman who found in my favour after it became clear #Barclays had ignored our complaints, set about bullying and treating it's customer like dirt. They tried to break into our home, caused untold harm to my wife who suffered a breakdown from the constant pressure. Their activities stretched out as far as trying to coerce me into committing fraud at the #WeybridgeBarclays

At which point I told them no more, I was sick ans tired of this treatment and it was a problem of their own making. THis seemed to come as a revelation to them.... and since then we've had the silent treatment a constant menacing threat hanging over us....

However as we've never had an answer as to why, and we've never had any legal paperwork to explain the action. I've dismissed it as it's nothing, I've tried to follow the #Obudsmans recommendation that the best course of action should be #negotiation as part of the #CustomerCare process.....

I've made three offers and am still awaiting the counter offer... it's been 3 years now and still nothing, just letters filled with empty threats.... and I feel that I've been talking to the door of #BarclaysHQ

It raises the question "why?" we;; because they can and there's nobody to stop'em, if they can do this to me they can do this to you.... unchecked, unabated, unregulated out of control and this could well be the tip of the #predatorymortgagecrisis which is yet to come... cos if they can switch your life off by simply closing your accounts, it adds a great deal to the bottom line profit.

I've fought this monster for the last 10+ years... often from a position of being disadvantaged. Afterall if they can control your money, access to money it allows them to do as they like....! It's siege warfare, weaponising silence, it's not customer care, it's all the benefit and none of the risk a mortgage holds for most folk.... and they want it all.... irrespective of fact, that they broke the contract between us.
